**Job Overview:**
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Construction Laborers with carpentry experience to join our team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to high standards. Commercial projects and residential work, you will be involved from demolition through to finishes. Concrete work, drywall, and carpentry experience are assets.
Due to the nature of our work, the successful candidate must be bondable and able to successfully complete a criminal record check and provide a current driver's abstract.
**Responsibilities:**
- Attention to detail and excellence is a top priority.
- Adaptability to execute a wide range of projects with a well-rounded variety of experience.
- Willingness to learn and perfect skills as needed.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites
- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging trenches, operating tools, and lifting heavy materials
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment
- Support skilled tradespeople on-site as needed, working collaboratively
- Help with the transportation and organization of materials
**Skills:**
- Experience one year preferred - carpentry/general construction
- Valid drivers license required
- Drywall/mudding/taping
- Concrete forming/finishing
- Masonry/tile/flooring
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is essential.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability, Taking initiative and showing pride in your work
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Ability to relocate or commute to the Shop location In Lindsay.
