Position summary: Campbellford Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeping Aide to join our Support Services team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for patients, families, staff and visitors. This position requires a commitment to excellence, compassion and adherence to infection prevention and control procedures.
Qualifications:
· Grade 12 diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred
Required Skills:
· Clean and sanitize patient care areas, treatment rooms, public spaces, offices, and other hospital facilities
· Ensure compliance with infection control standards and safe working practices
· Maintain environmental standards with minimal supervision
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a healthcare setting
· Physically capable of managing a moderately heavy workload
