The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Part-Time (0.50 f.t.e.) Educational Assistant at T. A. Norris Middle School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026 and will continue until June 29, 2027. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one support to students.
The school is located in the town of Peace River and serves students from grades 5-8. The school offers a high-quality core academic program, consisting of English, French Immersion and French Second Language and a wide range of exploratory courses which include Art, Drama, Home Economics and Band.
Qualifications:

Educational Assistant Certificate or equivalent.

Experience and/or training working with student in school setting.

Ability to work with children with varied ages, skills level, needs and abilities.

This is a union position under the collective agreement between the
Rate of Pay:
$22.59 to $28.02 per hour (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the CUPE Local 4839 and the Peace River School Division).
