Current Casual Support Services Positions Hiring For:
Cook Job Duties: This position includes meal preparation, allocation of preparatory work, apportioning and serving therapeutic and regular food items, and other related duties as per the HEU Collective Agreements. Experience in a Residential Facility preferable.
This position will be covering various types of leaves on a steady ongoing basis. The Cook will be working under the supervision of a Certified Chef.
Cook Qualifications: Completion of recognized Culinary Arts Program Certificate. Completion of Level 1 FOOD SAFE Program Certificate. Minimum of three (3) years of cooking experience. Valid WHMIS certificate.
Cook Salary/Wages: Range of $29.24/hour (minimum) to $31.19/hour (maximum)
Cook Screening Question: (these are mandatory if applying for the position)
- Do you have a Culinary Arts Program certificate?
- Do you have at least three (3) years of cooking experience?
- Do you have a Level 1 FOOD SAFE Program certificate?
Dietary Aide Job Duties: This position includes simple meal preparation, table and dishware maintenance, apportioning and serving therapeutic and regular food items, and other related duties as per the HEU Collective Agreements. Previous experience in a long-term care home is an asset.
Dietary Aide Job Qualifications: Grade 10 or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Completion of Level 1 FOOD SAFE Program Certificate. Valid WHMIS certificate.
Dietary Aide Salary/Wages: Starting at 25.82/hour
Dietary Aide Screening Question: (these are mandatory if applying for the position)

Housekeeping Attendant Job Duties: Performing a variety of cleaning maintenance duties such as floors, furniture, resident rooms, and other related duties as per the HEU Collective Agreements.
Housekeeping Attendant Job Qualifications: Grade 10 or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid WHMIS certificate.
Housekeeping Attendant Salary/Wages: Range of $25.82/hour
