JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Banquet Manager, Banquet Captain leads the banquet team in delivering a welcoming, organized, and exceptional event experiences for every Tigh-Na-Mara guest.
This guest-facing leadership role is responsible for supporting and guiding banquet team Members throughout event set-up, service, and tear-down, coordinating with kitchen and event teams, delivering exceptional food and beverage service, and helping ensure banquet spaces are clean, organized, and prepared for each event.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead banquet team during event set-up, service, and tear-down.
- Assign tasks and help ensure service standards are consistently met.
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming guest experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen, event, and banquet teams to support seamless event execution.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns.
- Help ensure banquet and service areas are clean, safe, organized, stocked, and ready for use.
- Support Team Members throughout events and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Available to work a flexible full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a positive attitude that contributes to a healthy, friendly, and supportive workplace.
- Professional, approachable, and committed to exceptional guest service.
- Able to work efficiently and remain organized in a fast-paced event environment.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to lead and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and move trays, banquet supplies, and equipment as required.
- Previous banquet, restaurant, hospitality, or leadership experience is considered an asset.
Pay Rate: $20.50 - $26.20 + gratuities
