The Head of Multimedia is a visionary leader who drives the strategy, innovation, and execution of multimedia production within the Engagement Branch’s Creative Services team. - Providing strategic and creative advice to operational, corporate, and executive-level clients by recommending optimal audio, video, and photography services that support organizational objectives and effectively reach target audiences.
- Implementing and managing all aspects of the various forms of multimedia services, which include liaising with clients, defining requirements, evaluating costs, overseeing production quality and reporting on results of multimedia deliverables.
- Monitoring and incorporating industry trends in multimedia productions (including videos, podcasts, animations).
- Managing activities of the multimedia team by developing plans/objectives, scheduling and monitoring work, establishing and adjusting priorities, directing subordinates, and evaluating work performance.
- Creating and revising systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices and personnel requirements, and by implementing changes.

Four (4) years of experience in:

The Multimedia Producer is a key member of the Engagement Branch’s Creative Services team, bringing ideas to life through innovative multimedia solutions that inform, engage, and inspire. Combining technical expertise with creative execution, this role produces compelling digital content, supports leading-edge multimedia technologies, and delivers exceptional audio-visual experiences to enhance organizational communications.
- Providing technical support and subject matter expertise related to audio-visual production and broadcasting for multi-stakeholder projects. This includes the set up and operation of equipment related to the recording, filming and editing of events and productions in the studio and on location.
- Coordinating and preparing the mobile setup of production equipment by transporting, installing, operating, dismantling and securing all audio-visual equipment.
- Trouble-shoot technical audio-visual issues by testing equipment, identifying the problem and providing solutions.
- Monitoring and coordinating audio-visual equipment quality control and reliability by completing preventive maintenance and repairs of broadcast equipment. Recommend equipment upgrades and acquisitions, when required.
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to maintain awareness of best practices and to ensure compatibility of formats, products and procedures. Ensuring products meet expectations, budget, and deadlines.
