Position: Port Field Technician (No Experience Needed)

Duties:
- Repair & maintain reefer containers, and gensets (No prior knowledge or experience needed)
- Pre-Trip and builds for containers coming off ship going on- track (No prior knowledge or experience needed)
- Identify and obtain necessary replacement parts as needed to execute repairs.
- Must be able to diagnose and perform proper repairs
- Conform to all safety and health standards
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
- Detailed and well-organized individual.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Any mechanical knowledge would be an asset.
- Experience using hand or power tools would be beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Must be able to be “on-call” for after-hours service.
- Must have own tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb, and/or sit frequently throughout the duration of the day.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and disciplined.
- Strong computer skills, with intermediate to advanced abilities in Microsoft Office (Would be an asset).
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred but not required).
**Important to note that this position will require overtime work during busy periods/ seasons and ON-CALL rotation **

Rate: from $22.00, depending on experience
This role includes competitive compensation and eligible benefits (medical, dental, vision) after completing your probationary period of (3) months of active employment.
