Axis Forestry is looking for a highly experienced, results-driven sales professional to help drive the next phase of growth across North America.
We manufacture innovative forestry equipment, machine control systems, and aftermarket products that have earned a strong reputation for quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Our products are well-regarded in the industry and continue to generate interest from logging contractors looking for reliable, productive solutions.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished salesperson who understands how to develop markets, build dealer networks, manage long sales cycles, and close high-value equipment sales. We are not looking for an order taker.

Primary Areas of Responsibility
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing revenue across four key business segments:
Harvester Head Sales
- Develop relationships with logging contractors and equipment owners
- Generate sales of Rebel harvesters, Kesla harvesters and related equipment
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations
- Manage opportunities from prospecting through closing
Computer Control System Sales·
- Promote Axis machine control and optimization solutions
- Identify upgrade opportunities within existing customer fleets
- Work closely with customers to understand operational needs and productivity goals
Aftermarket Parts and Service Sales
- Develop recurring parts and service revenue·
- Maintain relationships with existing customers
- Create long-term customer retention and support program
- Expand parts sales through dealers and direct accounts
Dealer and Distributor Development
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and support dealers throughout North America
- Build and strengthen dealer relationships
- Support dealer sales efforts and customer development
- Expand market coverage in underserved regions
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who understands how to create opportunities, build trust, and grow business over the long term.
Qualifications
- Proven success selling forestry equipment, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or related products
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business and close sales
- Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting and qualification through closing and customer retention
- Experience developing dealer or distributor networks
- Ability to work independently and manage a large territory with minimal supervision
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities, customers, dealers, and territories simultaneously·
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and highly accountable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 applications
- Experience using CRM software to manage leads, opportunities, follow-up activities, and customer relationships
Highly Desirable
- Existing relationships with logging contractors, forestry companies, equipment dealers, and harvesting contractors
- Knowledge of forestry harvesting operations
- Ability to safety navigate to remote forestry job sites
Job Requirements
- Reside in Canada or the United States, preferred home base either near Kamloops BC, Post Falls, Idaho or within reasonable access to a major international airport
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout Canada and the United States
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions affecting entry into Canada or the United States
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Compensation
This position offers a commission-based compensation structure with substantial earning potential. There are no artificial limits on territory development, customer acquisition, dealer recruitment, or business growth. Your success will be directly tied to the value you create and the relationships you build.
Independent contractor arrangements are welcomed and will be considered for qualified candidates.
