We are currently seeking a Seasonal Flagger to support traffic control and site safety operations at an industrial location in Yellowknife, NT.
Responsibilities

Setting up and removing signs, cones, and barricades

Communicating with drivers using hand signals or paddles

Alerting the site crew about safety hazards

Maintaining visual contact with the equipment operator

Removing debris and rubble from the work zone

Maintain regular communication with Supervisors regarding project progress, risks, and forecasts
Qualifications
-
Must reside in or around Yellowknife, NT
-
Valid class 5 driver's licence

Proven experience working as a flagger

Knowledge of NWT traffic regulations

Ability to work in harsh weather conditions

Previous experience in a large mining operation is preferred

TCP (Traffic Control Person) Certification preferred

Valid first aid certificate is an asset

Must be able to complete a criminal record check

Working Conditions

12-hour shifts

Seasonal contract (approximately 7 months)
