Our client, a leading organization in the tire distribution and logistics industry, is seeking a Tire Loader to join their team. As a Tire Loader, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting tire handling and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Tire Loader
Location: Granton, NS
Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 15:00, with occasional overtime opportunities
What's the Job?
- Operate forklift trucks to stage pallets of tires according to a defined pick-list
- Count and verify load quantity and quality to ensure accuracy and safety standards
- Use cleaning tools such as brooms and mops to maintain a tidy work environment in trailers
- Complete checklists and related paperwork related to tire loading and safety procedures
- Manually lift tires from pallets and stack them inside trailers following specific stacking patterns
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in varying temperature environments
- Valid Powered Industrial Vehicle license issued by Michelin, with specific vision and training requirements
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team of three or two loaders
- Strong attention to detail for inspection of tire identification and load accuracy
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management software (“Geode”) and vehicle-mounted tablets
