VitaCare Nurses and Caregivers is currently recruiting qualified Physiotherapists (PTs) for 1-to-1 home and community-based care assignments across New Brunswick.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Physiotherapists who are interested in providing individualized care and rehabilitation services to clients in their homes and communities.
These opportunities may include ongoing, recurring, casual, temporary, or assignment-based work, depending on client needs and availability.

Job Summary
As a Physiotherapist providing 1-to-1 home and community-based care, the Physiotherapist is responsible for coordinating and providing quality physiotherapy services within their professional scope of practice.
The Physiotherapist will work with clients and families to promote, maintain, and/or restore functional performance, mobility, independence, and quality of life.
The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with clients, families, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and provide appropriate care based on the individual client's needs and care plan.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individualized physiotherapy assessment and treatment within the professional scope of practice.
Support clients in maintaining or improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
Develop and implement appropriate physiotherapy interventions based on the client's individual needs.
Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers as appropriate.
Monitor client progress and communicate relevant changes to the appropriate members of the healthcare team.
Document assessments, interventions, progress, and other required care information accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow the client's established care plan and applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals involved in the client's care.
Maintain confidentiality and protect client information at all times.
Provide reliable and consistent care for recurring 1-to-1 assignments whenever possible.
Required Qualifications and Other Job Requirements
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of New Brunswick.
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, where applicable.
Knowledge of the target population served through Extra-Mural Services and available community resources.
Valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver's licence and a good driving record. Proof may be required.
Valid and satisfactory criminal record check.
Current CPR Level C certification issued within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain it within 3 months.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong judgment, decision-making, leadership, and coaching skills.
Ability to work independently in a home-care environment.
Ability to work assigned shifts while maintaining reliable attendance.
High regard for confidentiality, privacy, and professional boundaries.
Excellent work habits and professional appearance.
Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment and location.
1-to-1 Home Care
These positions are particularly suited to Physiotherapists who value individualized, client-centered care.
For recurring assignments, VitaCare will work toward providing continuity of care whenever possible so that the Physiotherapist can become familiar with the client's functional needs, care plan, goals, routines, and progress.
The Physiotherapist will also work collaboratively with the broader care team when additional support or communication is required.
