To keep our fleet running at a high standard, we’re looking for a Fleet Technician / Mechanic to join our in-house operations team. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined, this is a great opportunity to be part of the future of urban mobility.
Your Role
As a Fleet Technician, you’ll work on-site in our shop to maintain, repair, and optimize our fleet of electric scooters. You’ll play a key role in making sure every scooter on the road is safe, fully charged, and ready to ride.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform mechanical and electronic repairs on e-scooters
- Complete routine maintenance checks and safety inspections
- Use the MoVe tech platform to log repairs, updates, and fleet data
- Replace and calibrate batteries, brake systems, control units, and wiring
- Maintain parts inventory and keep the workshop clean and organized
- Work closely with fleet operators and management to prioritize tasks
- Assist with assembly and setup of new e-scooters when needed
- Follow safe, organized, and efficient work practices
What We're Looking For
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or small engine repairs such as bikes, scooters, e-bikes, or automotive
- Strong interest in electronics or mechanical systems, including self-taught experience
- Solid problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using tablets, computers, or apps to track work
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Certification in mechanics, electronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with lithium battery systems
- Experience in warehouse or fleet maintenance environments
