JOB DESCRIPTION
The Press Set-up Operator is expected to satisfy production and quality needs by efficiently setting up and taking down metal stamping dies. Full safety, quality, and production training will be provided.
SHIFT(S) AVAILABLE
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday to Friday)
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Set-up and removal of manual, progressive, and linear transfer dies for metal stamping production
- Must meet assigned production needs and requirements
- Work with quality personnel to ensure quality is maintained during production and setup
- Quickly resolve metal stamping production issues, preserving production quotas and timelines
- Press Set-up Operator must maintain a safe work environment by following procedures
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Metal stamping production set-up experience for 200 ton to 2000 ton presses
- Experience with overhead crane & forklift is essential
- Familiarity with Quality Documentation (IATF 16949:2016)
- Understand basic written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION and BENEFITS
- Salary Range $25.00 to 32.84 per hour
- Competitive salary based on experience and knowledge
- $0.75 per hour premium for Afternoon Shift
