RAM is seeking IRATA-certified Rope Access / Swing Stage Technicians for a full-time seasonal suspended access project in Toronto, expected to run from July through November, with potential extension into December.
About the Project Work
The project will involve hands-on construction, concrete remediation, maintenance, repair, installation, and support work from swing stage and other suspended access systems.
The work will take place on a complex structure where access, safety planning, communication, and procedural discipline are critical. Workers must be comfortable operating in a high-visibility environment where professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
The ideal candidate understands that while the work may not involve rope access every day, the expectations are aligned with the standards of a trained rope access technician. We are looking for people who bring the safety mindset, situational awareness, and work ethic that come from IRATA training and high-angle experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow all Company Policies, Procedures and Instructions inclusive of health and safety regulations.
- Swing Stage / Suspended Access Technician
- Preparing work areas, materials and equipment.
- Performing construction, maintenance and repair tasks from swing stage and suspended access systems.
- Using hand tools, power tools, fall protection equipment, rigging equipment and suspended access equipment on a project-by-project basis.
- Assist with the execution of projects from inception through to completion by means of suspended access. These projects include:
- Commercial and industrial maintenance, repairs, installations and general construction.
- Facilitating safe work for exterior repairs including concrete repairs, coatings, sealing, mechanical, inspection and related scopes.
- Supporting inspection, documentation, quality control and project closeout activities.
- Ensuring the use of appropriate PPE for the task as well as ensuring operational safety of all personal equipment.
- Maintaining awareness of dropped object hazards, weather conditions, public exposure and site-specific controls.
- Liaising with Project Coordinator, Site Supervisor and site crews to ensure work scopes are understood and well executed to a high standard.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Rope Access Experience: 1-3 years preferred
- Construction Experience: 1-3 years preferred
- Swing Stage / Suspended Access Experience is an asset
- Level 1 IRATA is required
- Level 2 or Level 3 IRATA is an asset
- All applicable safety certificates including Working at Heights, WHMIS and Worker Awareness
- Has Canadian residency with a Social Insurance Number OR a current, valid working permit
- Must be available for full-time seasonal work through July, August, September, October, and November, with potential extension into December
- Must understand that the primary work method will be swing stage / suspended access rather than daily rope access

Desirable Trade Skills
- Swing Stage or Suspended Platform Experience
- Experience in high-rise or complex structural projects
- Concrete Remediation / Commercial Concrete Experience
- Previous Rescue Experience is an Asset
- Hoisting and Rigging Experience & Tickets
