We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing food, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting food service activities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed to meet safety standards
Support the serving staff by maintaining clean and organized service areas
Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards in the kitchen
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Skills

Experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments preferred
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
Ability to perform basic food preparation and cooking tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks during busy periods

This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude. Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support the team
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver seamless service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cashiering and billing purposes
Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques
Food industry knowledge including serving, food preparation, and guest services is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 per hour
