Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex initiatives within enterprise software environments on behalf of our client in the food manufacturing industry.
The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in project management methodologies, along with experience managing CAPEX projects in a manufacturing setting. This role requires a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, along with strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills to ensure successful execution and delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Job Type: Contract position of 12 months – with possibility of extension!
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually DOE
Shift Structure: Primarily day shift hours - must have some flexibility based on project needs
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise software projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget alignment
· Build and manage project plans; track progress and adjust as needed
· Gather requirements and define scope with key stakeholders
· Coordinate cross-functional teams using Agile/SDLC frameworks (Jira, TFS)
· Manage releases, deployments, and disaster recovery planning
· Maintain project documentation, including status updates, risks, and change control
· Oversee UAT to ensure solutions meet business needs before go-live
· Collaborate with technical teams across databases, cloud (AWS), and enterprise systems
· Drive multi-project initiatives aligned with business priorities
· Manage vendors and stakeholders; resolve issues and secure resources
· Ensure adherence to PM best practices (PMBOK, SDLC) while fostering team collaboration
Qualifications & Experience:
· Must have previous background in mechanical/electrical, food/technology or chemical engineering, ideally within the food industry
· Must have a valid PMP certification
· Must have solid understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and PMBOK
· Demonstrated proficency in tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
· Strong technical awareness of databases (SQL, Oracle) and enterprise-level systems
· Experience supporting release management, UAT, disaster recovery planning, and full SDLC processes
· Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple initiatives
· Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills
· Strong analytical capabilities, including requirements gathering, risk identification, and problem-solving
· Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
