About KORAA
KORAA is a women’s sports and community not-for-profit focused on creating welcoming, inclusive, and empowering spaces for women to feel active, confident, and connected. Our goal is to make sports more accessible, especially for women who may not have always had spaces where they felt comfortable participating, learning, competing, and thriving.
We are currently looking for Volleyball Referees to support our women’s-only volleyball programs and leagues, including our upcoming KORAA London volleyball league, which is where this role would land.
Role Overview
We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and attentive Volleyball Referees to support KORAA volleyball games by officiating matches, enforcing rules, encouraging fair play, and helping maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all participants.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys volleyball, understands the flow of the game, and can communicate clearly and confidently with players. Referees will play an important role in helping our league run smoothly while supporting a positive and encouraging sports environment.

- 7-week season
- Season dates: June 25 to August 6
- Location: Beach Hangar in London, Ontario
Referees may be asked to arrive slightly earlier to help review schedules, connect with the KORAA team, and ensure games start on time.
Additional opportunities may be available for future KORAA volleyball leagues, tournaments, or special events.

What We’re Looking For
We are looking for referees who are not only knowledgeable about volleyball, but who also align with KORAA’s values. Our leagues are meant to be fun, welcoming, respectful, and empowering. While competition is part of the game, kindness and sportsmanship are at the heart of everything we do.
The ideal referee is someone who can balance fairness with encouragement, keep games organized, and help create a positive experience for all participants.
