BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Reports To: President
Role Purpose Generate profitable new business opportunities for Davco by identifying, qualifying, developing, and supporting the conversion of industrial construction opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships and promoting the Davco brand.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Opportunity Development
- Identify and qualify new project opportunities within energy, oil & gas, mining, utilities, industrial facilities, and heavy industry.
- Research prospective clients, decision makers, and market opportunities.
- Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and CRM database.
- Track lead status and next actions.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Schedule meetings, presentations, and client visits.
- Gather feedback regarding Davco project execution and client satisfaction.
- Maintain regular client contact and follow-up.
3. Proposal & Marketing Support
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, qualification packages, and marketing materials.
- Support marketing initiatives, trade shows, conferences, industry events, and networking activities.
- Promote the Davco brand through approved community and online engagement.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor market activity, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.
- Provide management with market updates, client intelligence, and business development reports.
- Identify emerging trends and niche opportunities aligned with Davco's strategic direction.
5. Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with Operations, Estimating, Area Managers, and Executive Leadership regarding opportunities.
- Ensure opportunity information is communicated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support strategic pursuits and major project opportunities.

AUTHORITY
1. The Business Development Coordinator may:
- Initiate client contact.
- Represent Davco at approved events.
- Coordinate meetings and presentations.
- Recommend pursuit strategies.
2. The Business Development Coordinator may not:
- Commit Davco contractually.
- Approve new rates, discounts, budgets, or project execution strategies without authorization.

- Participate in hazard identification and risk mitigation.
- Lead by example in all safety-related matters.
- Operate vehicles and equipment only when authorized and qualified.
SALARY
- Structure: Base wage plus commission
- Range: Varies with education and experience
Preference will be given to those candidates that reside in either the Lloydminster or Wainwright trading area. Only those candidates of interest will be contacted.
