Compensation: Up to $150,000 per year plus benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

The Opportunity:
This role is ideal for a confident commercial electrical Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from early planning through final delivery. You will manage multiple projects, coordinate closely with field teams and stakeholders, support budgeting and scheduling, and contribute to collaborative IPD environments where your ideas and leadership have a direct impact. If you are detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and motivated by doing excellent work with a strong team, this is a role where you can grow, lead, and make your mark. This position also offers opportunities to travel across Western Canada.
What You’ll Lead:
o Lead commercial electrical projects with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction.
o Collaborate in IPD environments, including Big Room sessions, pull planning, and coordination with owners, consultants, trade partners, suppliers, and field teams.
o Support early design and preconstruction by contributing constructability insight, electrical systems planning, budget alignment, and value-based solutions.
o Manage schedules, manpower planning, equipment coordination, material requirements, purchasing, documentation, and project communication.
o Review drawings, engineered plans, site progress, labor costs, material costs, and project performance to keep work moving efficiently and profitably.
o Design electrical and systems for projects in collaboration with consultants, builders and Architects
o Create preliminary and detailed cost models and detailed budgets based on historical information and your design build efforts.
o Build strong relationships through clear communication, proactive issue resolution, open-book collaboration, and shared accountability.
What You Bring:
o 3–5 years of experience managing (Project Management) commercial construction or commercial electrical projects. (Journeyman electrical certification required).
o Flexibility to travel and work remotely from Edmonton.
o Experience leading or contributing to IPD projects, with an understanding of collaborative planning, early trade involvement, shared accountability, and transparent communication.
o Ability to contribute to Lean/IPD practices such as pull planning, target-value thinking, continuous improvement, and joint problem-solving.
o Strong communication, ability to lead discussion or present to an IPD/Construction team, organization, planning, budgeting, and relationship-management skills.
o Experience in health care, renewable energy, or Solar PV projects is an asset.
o Commercial electrical Foremen experience is an asset.
Helpful Software Experience:
o Bluebeam, Accubid, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office 365, Procore, Google drive, Touch Plan and industry pull planning software.
