TF Warren Group is a premier custom paint and lining maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. We are currently looking to add an experienced Industrial Blaster to our growing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine blast requirements and safety instructions from foreman
- Check item for presence of oil, grease, improper protection (ex. Taping)
- Assist in preparation (ex. Taping) of items before blasting
- Ensure items are properly secured, if applicable
- Assist material handlers to move material in/out of blast booth
- Determine the correct nozzle, air pressure and blast material to achieve the desired surface preparation and profile according to specifications
- Inspect equipment and personal protective equipment prior to blasting
- Blast items, inspect progress and touch-up, as required
- Blow down and vacuum items upon completion of blasting
- Housekeeping, including keeping work area clean and free of any debris
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including hazardous material handling and the proper use of respiratory and personal protective equipment
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous BLASTING experience in a similar position is required
- Basic English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Mechanically inclined individual preferred
- Working at Heights and Confined Spaces certifications are an asset.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to carry 15 lbs. blast hose short distance
- Ability to hold high-pressure blast hose continuously for up to 1 hour
- Ability to stand and walk continuously for 4 hours at a time
- Comfortable and able to climb a ladder and work at heights up to 10 meters
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable and able to work in confined spaces / tanks
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE and breathing equipment
