JDAis seeking experienced Winch Truck Operators to join our team. This position is intended to be a long-term position in a dynamic and growing company. JDA would be proud to have you as part of our strong team of qualified staff. We are always looking for motivated and hard working individuals.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate winch tractors, including Peterbilt and Western Star units, and related equipment.
- Operate winch systems to load, unload, position, and transport equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections and monitor truck and winch performance.
- Ensure loads, equipment, and materials are properly secured before transport.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, job requirements, and Dispatch instructions.
- Communicate with Dispatch and Supervisors regarding job progress, completion, delays, or mechanical concerns.
- Complete required documentation, including logbooks, inspections, transportation documents, and FLHAs.
- Report mechanical issues, incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Maintain equipment and ensure trucks and winch systems are operated in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
- Provide professional and reliable service while working with customers and representing J.D.A. Ventures Ltd.
Job Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Class 1 drivers license (18 speed)
- Clean drivers abstract
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Physically fit
- Experience in running Winch Tractor
- Certified in First Aid & H2S
- Be certified in ODA or equivalent for defensive driving (preferred, but will train)
- Be certified in Hours of Service and Fatigue Management (preferred, but will train)
