Job Description
Reporting to the Talent Lead and working within her centre of excellence (a team of three professionals), the Talent Coordinator plays a key role in the success of our recruitment, training, and talent development initiatives.
We are looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who can simultaneously manage multiple files, handle a high volume of details with precision, and provide exceptional support to our managers, employees, and candidates. The position can be based in Quebec or British Columbia and supports our operations in Quebec, British Columbia, and Florida.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Write, post, and track job listings across various recruitment platforms
- Screen applications and conduct initial phone interviews or assessments in both French and English
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers across our various sites
- Conduct reference checks and support pre-employment screening processes
- Coordinate the administrative onboarding of new employees and send welcome communications
- Participate in the planning and logistics of recruitment campaigns, job fairs, and visibility events
Training, Engagement & Development
- Coordinate onboarding and integration programs for new employees
- Manage all training logistics: registrations, invitations, materials, rooms, virtual platforms, communications, and follow-ups
- Coordinate satisfaction surveys and compile results related to recruitment and training activities
- Maintain the training activity tracking file and key performance indicators
- Track mandatory training, certifications, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor participation rates, completion rates, and training effectiveness indicators
- Administer skills development platforms and tools, including Poka and the Tremplin program
- Prepare training reports and dashboards
- Coordinate the years-of-service recognition program and manage associated administrative follow-up
- Communicate organizational initiatives via digital signage and the Intranet
- Participate in Talent team projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Knowledge & Skills
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or any other relevant field
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a multi-site or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Bilingual in French and English (oral and written, level 4/5 or higher) in order to communicate effectively with internal clients and candidates across our Quebec, British Columbia, and Florida sites
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
- Strong autonomy and initiative
- Comfortable with technology and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of internal customer service
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at various levels and across multidisciplinary teams
