Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to join our team.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a clean, supportive production environment. The Packaging Associate will help prepare and package food products with accuracy, care, and consistency.
We can accommodate approximately 25 to 40 hours per week, depending on production needs. Production operates Monday to Saturday, so availability during this period is an asset. For the right candidate, this position has the potential to grow into a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Weigh, cut, seal, label, and date semi-hard cheese products accurately
- Hand mix, weigh out, and package soft cheese
- Package food products according to quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with other tasks within the packaging department as needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and product quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, food handling, packaging, or production is preferred, but not required
- Food Handler Certificate is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to cleanliness, quality, and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- English language skills preferred
