The Position:
The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the leasing process, maintaining positive prospect and resident relationships, and assisting with administrative duties related to prospect leads and the leasing process. This temporary, part-time role will serve communities in both Blind Bay and Vernon and requires occasional travel between locations. The coordinator will report directly to the Leasing Agent and Property Manager.
The ideal candidate is someone personable, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working independently while delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication and people skills are required with frequent interactions with prospective residents, residents and property management.

Key Responsibilities:
The Residential Leasing Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to, accomplishing the following:
Leasing & Sales Support
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective residents via phone, email, and in person.
- Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective residents.
- Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate records in leasing and CRM systems.
- Assist with lease preparation, execution, and move-in documentation.
- Support occupancy goals through proactive outreach and relationship-building activities.
Resident Relations
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
- Assist with resident communications, notices, and community updates.
- Support resident move-ins and move-outs.
- Address resident inquiries and coordinate with property management as required.
Administrative Duties
- Track prospect leads activity and prepare reports
- Maintain accurate leasing files and resident records.
- Assist with marketing initiatives as required.
- Ensure leasing materials, signage, and show homes are maintained to a high standard.
Community Support
- Conduct regular inspections of show homes and common areas to ensure presentation standards are met.
- Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams regarding resident and leasing needs.
- Represent North Grove Communities professionally within the community
Qualifications:
- 1 – 2 years of experience in leasing, property management, sales, hospitality, sales or customer service.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Experience with leasing or sales tracking programs or applications an asset.
- Knowledge of the BC Residential Tenancy Act and leasing regulations an asset.
- Strong tracking, reporting and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Valid BC Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Ability to travel between Blind Bay and Vernon as required.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
