SALES AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Job Purpose
EQUS is looking for a detail oriented and highly organized Sales and Communications Coordinator to coordinate internal and externals sales and communications activities for EQUS. Working closely with subject-matter experts, the Sales and Communications Coordinator responsibilities include supporting high impact activities that drive sales performance and communication to support EQUS’ corporate identity standards.
Duties
- Lead management and sales conversion; manage warm/hot leads generated through EQUS.ca, Power Co-ops of Alberta, and member referrals.
- Member retention; engage with existing EQUS members to support retention.
- Support the Business Development team with planning and execution of sales communications, business development proposals, and a range of general communication materials.
- Support with internal and external communications activities for EQUS, including but not limited to: social media oversight, SharePoint, monthly member newsletter, major outage response, and news articles on EQUS.ca.
- Support with copy editing and quality control on materials written by EQUS staff to ensure corporate identity standards are met.
- Support with corporate media communications such as press releases and external stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with departments to develop targeted communication strategies.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both oral and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to proofread and edit communications materials and technical documents to meet standards
- Exceptional time management skills and ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- CRM systems and MS Office proficiency
- Experience with Adobe InDesign or other graphic design platforms
Education and Experience
- Graduation from a University program in the field of Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2-4 years experience in sales coordination, marketing or communications
