Victoria’s is an owner-operated modern steakhouse recognized by DiRoNa (Distinguished Restaurants of North America), consistently ranked among Hamilton’s top restaurants and recognized by OpenTable diners as one of Canada’s Top 100 Restaurants.
We are currently looking to add a culinary team member to our kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared, organized, and ready to contribute positively to the team
- Maintain a clean, professional, and efficient station
- Execute prep and service with consistency and attention to detail
- Ensure mise en place is properly stocked and maintained throughout service
- Work cleanly and methodically during prep and service
- Taste constantly and develop awareness around seasoning and consistency
- Support teammates and contribute to overall kitchen flow
- Participate in inventory awareness, organization, and product care
- Demonstrate urgency while remaining calm and composed during peak service periods
- Follow systems and standards while contributing thoughtful feedback and ideas

Compensation & Gratuities
Victoria’s offers competitive hourly compensation along with a robust kitchen gratuity system designed to better balance compensation between front and back of house staff.
During peak periods, gratuities can add approximately $5–10+ per hour on top of base wages. Gratuities are distributed bi-weekly based on hours worked through a transparent system that we are happy to discuss during the interview process.
Schedule & Availability
- Evening and weekend availability is required, an ability to be flexible over the Summer is critical.
- Victoria’s operates dinner service only
- Flexibility is important during busy periods, holidays, and special events
