About The Role
We're looking for a passionate, registered International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to join our new Meadowvale clinic. You'll provide evidence-based lactation support to new and expectant parents, helping families navigate their infant feeding journeys with confidence and compassion. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that includes pelvic floor physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and more, all under one roof. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a clinic that genuinely puts families first, right from the start.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive lactation assessments and develop individualized care plans for clients
- Support families with a range of feeding concerns including latch difficulties, low milk supply, nipple pain, engorgement, tongue-tie, and return-to-work planning
- Collaborate with Oona's interdisciplinary team to provide holistic, coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive clinic environment
- Participate in Oona's community programming, classes, and workshops as relevant
Who We're Looking For
- Current IBCLC certification in good standing
- Registration and eligibility to practice in Ontario
- Experience providing lactation support in a clinical or community setting
- A warm, client-centred approach and a genuine passion for supporting new families
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Curiosity, flexibility, and a people-first mindset
Hours of Work
2 shifts per week, with consistent and predictable scheduling.
