Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Caterer to join our team, delivering exceptional food services for a variety of events and occasions. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food industry, committed to high-quality service, and experienced in food preparation and handling.

As a growing company, we operate with an all hands-on deck approach—candidates must be willing to take on a variety of tasks, including food preparation, event setup and teardown, décor setup, and general event support.
The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event needs. Candidates must be physically capable of heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in dynamic event settings. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a team-first mindset are essential.
Candidates must have a valid Food Handler’s Certificate and a reliable means of transportation, as travel to various event locations is required. A background in hospitality or hotel services is strongly encouraged, as this experience contributes to delivering elevated service standards. A strong commitment to food safety, attention to detail, and a focus on customer satisfaction are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of dishes according to event requirements and menu specifications
- Assist with food prep, cooking, plating, and maintaining kitchen organization
- Set up and tear down catering stations, including tables, linens, décor, utensils, and serving ware
- Support event setup, including décor placement and overall presentation
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide professional and friendly service to guests, maintaining high hospitality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization before, during, and after events
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment and supplies, including heavy lifting when required
- Travel to and from event locations as needed
- Collaborate with team members and event coordinators to ensure smooth execution of events
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Experience
- REQUIRED Previous experience in the restaurant, catering, or food service industry
- Strong background in guest services, hospitality, or hotel operations is an asset
- REQUIRED Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
- REQUIRED Reliable transportation
- Smart Serve certification is an asset
- REQUIRED Experience in food handling, preparation, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with food presentation and catering equipment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- A flexible, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
