About the Role
The Quality Assurance (QA) Agent is responsible for reviewing completed DedON projects to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established surveying and quality standards. The role includes conducting detailed project reviews, assigning quality scores, and providing constructive feedback to Agents. The position is supported through mentorship from the Quality Assurance Lead with opportunities to further develop quality assurance and operational skills.
Responsibilities Include
- Inspect and analyze completed architectural plans against established criteria and standards.
- Rework rejected projects or return them to Agents with feedback and required corrections.
- Determine whether project errors or omissions require a “Go-Back” site visit.
- Provide Agents with feedback regarding project accuracy through quality scores.
- Maintain the integrity of document storage systems and project workflow steps.
- Assist with developing Project Support Tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Recommend process improvements and approaches for implementing them.
- Develop the ability to ask effective questions, understand issues, and determine appropriate solutions.
Prerequisite Technical Skills
- Minimum 1 year field experience completing surveys
- Strong knowledge of in-field surveying practices.
- Ability to inspect and analyze architectural plans.
- Ability to identify project errors, omissions, and required corrective actions.
- Aptitude for analysis and problem-solving.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to gather relevant performance data and support statistical reporting.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD required, Recap and Revit is a plus
- Proficiency with point cloud workflows
- Proficiency with Google Workspace Apps (Docs, Sheets, etc)

- Problem-solving and analytical skills are required for this role; there is minimal design work.
- There may be periodic travel from our Mississauga office (401 and Winston Churchill) to our Customers’ offices within the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).
