Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
As an Electrical Technologist, you will work in collaboration with the Electrical teams based in Moncton and Fredericton, NB, while contributing to a variety of commercial, municipal, institutional, and industrial projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety leadership by following and promoting Englobe's Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices;

Assist with the planning, design, and drafting of electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects;

Prepare detailed electrical drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit;

Contribute to the design of power distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm, security, access control, communications, and networking systems;

Perform field investigations, site reviews, condition assessments, and data collection activities;

Review shop drawings and contractor submissions for compliance with project requirements.

Assist in the preparation of technical reports, contract documents, specifications, and supporting project documentation;

Support the development of project budgets, construction cost estimates, and schedules;

Coordinate electrical designs with multidisciplinary project teams, including mechanical, structural, civil, and environmental professionals;

Attend client meetings, project coordination meetings, and construction progress meetings while supporting project delivery objectives.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited institution;

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical design, drafting, or field services within the consulting, construction, or engineering industry;

Eligibility for, or registration as, a Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) designation is considered an asset;

Strong understanding of building electrical systems, including power distribution, emergency power, lighting, fire alarm, communications, and low-voltage systems;

Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and industry best practices;

Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design and drafting;

Experience with electrical analysis and design software such as AGi32, SKM, ETAP, or similar tools is considered an asset;

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset;

Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities;

Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
