Type: Permanent, Full Time
Schedule: 14 Days on & 14 Days off

Opportunity Description:
We are seeking a HVAC Maintenance Lead professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee maintenance operations, ensuring the highest standards of facility upkeep and contributing to our mission of delivering reliable service. Your leadership will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Assign and review work orders/break ins to crew through client system SAP; Responsible for completing the schedule and work with the client coordinators to optimize schedule
- Complete daily work site visits to review paperwork and monitor work progress
- Complete focus audits and participate in planned inspections
- Review and sign off on all internal HSE paperwork as per guidelines below:
FLHA – Review prior to work starting for higher risk/new/out of the ordinary scopes. All others can be reviewed as part of daily site inspections as time permits. Feedback should be provided where FLHAS can be improved/revised for current and/or future scopes.
Stop the Drop Checklist – Review as part of daily site inspections
Fall Protection Equipment Pre-Use Inspection – Review as part of daily site inspections
Vehicle and Equipment Inspections – Review as part of daily site inspections
JSA – Review as part of daily site inspections
- Provide feedback to workers on where daily paperwork can be revised/improved for current/future scopes of work
- Providing feedback to Site Manager for 90-day and annual employee evaluations
- Escort employees to post incident, reasonable cause and random alcohol and drug tests
- Continuous assessment of employee’s fitness for duty
- Regular review of JSAs with affected work groups to ensure JSA reflects all current tasks, hazard and mitigations.
- Taking a leadership role that creates a work climate that will motivate employees to think and work safely.
- Instruct the employees that safe practices are to be followed and safe conditions maintained throughout the job.
- Participate in weekly health & safety tours with your areas of responsibility.
- Report and address all unsafe conditions.
- Be familiar with the laws pertaining to safety and their basic requirements.
- Assist in incident investigations with HSE.
- Receiving parts and distributing to correct job/ trade.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are readily available and if not utilize material request form to order.
- Walk down high-risk jobs.
- Morning toolbox meetings.
Qualifications:
Education, Skills & Experience
- Strong planning, organizing and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Valid Class 5 Drivers licence with a clean driver abstract
- Must be able to meet pre employment D&A testing requirements
- Journeyman HVAC
