Junior Analyst, Production Support – JLL
What this job involves:
As a Junior Analyst in Production Support at JLL, you'll be an essential part of our technology operations team, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our production systems and applications. This role focuses on monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to maintain optimal system performance and minimize business disruption. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support JLL's technology infrastructure while developing your technical expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging IT professional eager to build a strong foundation in production support and contribute to JLL's commitment to operational excellence.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Monitor production systems and applications to identify and resolve issues proactively, ensuring minimal downtime
Respond to support tickets and incidents in a timely manner, troubleshooting technical problems and escalating complex issues when necessary
Document incident resolutions, root cause analyses, and standard operating procedures to build a comprehensive knowledge base
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to implement fixes and deploy system updates
Perform routine system checks, validations, and maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and performance
Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for critical production incidents
Assist in testing and validating system changes before deployment to production environments
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
1-2 years of experience in IT support, production support, or a related technical role
Basic understanding of system monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and incident management processes
Fundamental knowledge of databases (SQL queries), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and application troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze technical issues logically and methodically
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices
Exposure to scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for basic automation tasks
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and related services
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Self-motivated learner with a strong desire to develop technical skills and grow within the organization
Experience in real estate technology or corporate IT environments is a plus
