Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Sales Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our Healthy Bedroom showroom. This role is best suited for someone ambitious, self-directed, highly customer-focused, and confident in selling luxury or high-ticket products. The Assistant Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering an outstanding client experience, driving sales performance, maintaining strong operational standards, and identifying new opportunities to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily showroom operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver a polished, consultative sales experience for clients purchasing luxury mattresses and sleep products.
- Build strong client relationships by understanding customer needs, explaining product value, and guiding clients toward the right sleep solution.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective follow-up, product knowledge, and professional selling techniques.
- Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, merchandising standards, and brand consistency at all times.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, product displays, and showroom supplies.
- Handle customer questions, concerns, and conflicts professionally with minimal supervision.
- Support operational efficiency while protecting profitability and the premium positioning of the brand.
- Identify practical ways to increase store traffic, improve sales results, and create new selling opportunities.
- Represent Healthy Bedroom with professionalism, accountability, and a strong service mindset.
Qualifications and Experience
- Retail sales experience required.
- Previous experience selling luxury, premium, or high-ticket products is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to sell through product knowledge, relationship-building, and client-focused consultation.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage the store with minimal supervision.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills and a professional approach to customer concerns.
- Accountable, motivated, growth-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of store results.
- Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds when required.
