Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa is seeking an energetic and service-driven Assistant Restaurant Manager – Evening Operations to join our Food & Beverage leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead evening service across multiple unique dining venues, including the renowned Churchill's Restaurant, The Grande Lounge & Bar, seasonal patios, and other resort food & beverage outlets.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering the elevated dining and lounge experiences that define our resort.
What You'll DoLead Evening Operations
- Oversee all front-of-house operations during evening service
- Ensure seamless service execution from opening to closing
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and table turnover
- Coordinate closely with culinary and bar teams
- Maintain a welcoming, upscale atmosphere throughout all venues
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately
Inspire & Support Your Team
- Lead, coach, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff
- Conduct engaging pre-shift meetings
- Provide real-time coaching and service guidance
- Jump in and support operations during peak periods
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture
Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
- Build meaningful relationships with guests
- Resolve concerns quickly and professionally
- Ensure outstanding service, food presentation, and overall guest satisfaction
- Create memorable experiences that drive guest loyalty and repeat visits
Maintain Excellence
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and liquor compliance standards
- Monitor service quality and operational efficiency
- Complete end-of-shift reporting and administrative duties
- Support revenue growth through effective upselling and guest engagement
What We're Looking ForQualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment
- Experience leading evening or dinner service in a high-volume operation preferred
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of food, beverage, wine, and bar operations
- Experience with POS systems (MICROS or equivalent)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and guest service skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
