Description complète du poste

This isn't a call center job where you're reading off a script and moving to the next call as fast as possible. You're running the front desk of a busy plumbing and HVAC shop — booking jobs, and being the person customers actually trust to sort things out.

You'll answer calls, book service, support dispatch, and help customers figure out what they actually need. What you do matters — techs get to the right job on time, customers feel taken care of, and the day runs smooth instead of falling apart by 10am.

It's a small, busy team, and the CSR seat is one of the most important ones in the building.

What You'll Be Doing

Answer inbound calls with a warm, professional greeting — you're the first impression of the company
Ask the right questions to figure out what's actually going on before booking — the issue, the urgency, the right service type
Book the job with complete details in our system, so the tech shows up knowing what they're walking into instead of guessing
Check a customer's service history before booking to catch repeat issues or membership details
Explain pricing, trip fees, and membership benefits accurately — no guessing, no making it up
Keep the schedule full and organized, working closely with the dispatcher on same-day changes, cancellations, and add-ons
Confirm upcoming appointments the day before with a reminder call or text
Follow up same-day on missed or unconverted calls
Handle the occasional frustrated customer with patience, and know when to loop in a manager
Light collections and admin work — following up on unpaid invoices, processing payments, keeping customer records accurate

What We Need From You

1–2+ years in customer service, reception, a call centre, or scheduling — trades or home services experience is a plus, not required
You're comfortable on the phone and don't get rattled easily, even when it's busy
Solid with Excel, Word, and Outlook; ServiceTitan or similar scheduling software is a bonus
Detail-oriented — a clean, accurate booking saves the field team from a wasted trip
You can multitask without dropping the ball — this isn't a one-thing-at-a-time job
Typical week is 8–10 hour days, Monday to Friday

Administrative or dispatch experience helps, but the right attitude matters more than a perfect resume. If you're organized, quick on your feet, and actually care about the person on the other end of the phone, we want to hear from you.
