Role:
The Quality & Food Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining quality, food safety, regulatory, and compliance programs across the facility. This role supports audit readiness, document control, regulatory compliance, customer requirements, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with Operations, Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
Education
Degree or diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or related field
Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in quality control, food safety, regulatory compliance, or quality systems within food or beverage manufacturing.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory programs, and document control systems preferred.
- Beverage, brewery, RTD, or liquid processing experience is considered an asset.
Technical Skills
· Knowledge of HACCP, PCP, SFCR, CFIA, and FSSC 22000 requirements.
· Understanding of food labeling and regulatory requirements.
· Experience with document control and quality management systems.
· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Quality Systems & Compliance
- Maintain quality and food safety documentation, records, procedures, forms, and work instructions.
- Coordinate document control activities, including revisions, approvals, distribution, and archival.
Regulatory & Label Compliance
- Support compliance with CFIA, SFCR, FDA (where applicable), FSSC 22000, HACCP, PCP, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate artwork and label review activities, including ingredient statements, allergen declarations, nutrition facts tables, and regulatory claims.
- Maintain approved specifications, regulatory documentation, and label retention records.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) activities involving products, ingredients, packaging, and processes.
- Assist with customer onboarding and specification management activities.
Audit & Food Safety Programs
- Coordinate internal audits, GMP inspections, traceability exercises, and mock recalls.
- Support customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Track audit findings and corrective actions through completion.
- Maintain audit schedules, training records, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, allergen management, and food safety program verification activities.
Customer & Technical Support
- Coordinate customer quality requests, specifications, questionnaires, supplier surveys, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare Certificates of Destruction (CODs).
- Coordinate sample submissions and testing with external laboratories.
- Support investigations involving customer complaints, product holds, and quality incidents.
- Assist with product launches, validation activities, and innovation trials.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain quality databases, KPI reports, complaint tracking, audit logs, and regulatory records.
- Trend quality, food safety, and compliance data to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare routine reports and presentations for management review meetings.
- Ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
