Wage: CAD $253,000.00 per year, equivalent to approximately CAD $121.63 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary
As Chief Executive Officer of Maplerose, you will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, financial, and executive leadership to the company. Your role will involve overseeing Maplerose’s real estate holdings, leasing operations, asset management functions, business expansion plans, and related corporate activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Establishing and executing Maplerose’s overall strategic direction, business objectives, and long-term growth plans;
- Developing and implementing strategies to generate revenue, improve property performance, and increase the value of Maplerose’s real estate assets;
- Overseeing Maplerose’s real estate holdings, leasing operations, tenant relations, property performance, and asset management strategy;
- Leading business planning for future property acquisitions, redevelopment opportunities, leasing expansion, and higher-and-better-use asset strategies;
- Evaluating real estate investment and development opportunities and making senior-level decisions regarding acquisitions, financing, leasing, repositioning, redevelopment, or disposition of real estate assets;
- Arranging and overseeing financing strategies for acquisitions, redevelopment, construction, and property improvement projects;
- Directing zoning, municipal planning, development approval, and redevelopment strategies where required;
- Coordinating with city planners, legal counsel, architects, engineers, environmental consultants, lenders, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and other external professionals;
- Establishing and supervising financial, administrative, and operational controls to support Maplerose’s business growth;
- Allocating financial, human, and operational resources to implement Maplerose’s business objectives;
- Supervising and directing employees, managers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and other service providers involved in Maplerose’s operations;
- Representing Maplerose in negotiations with tenants, lenders, contractors, consultants, suppliers, service providers, municipal stakeholders, and related business entities;
- Coordinating, where required, with Property Force (Canada) Inc., Mehan Group Limited, and other related companies to support the group’s centralized real estate management, leasing, development, and investment strategy;
- Reviewing activity reports, financial statements, operational reports, leasing updates, project reports, and business performance records to assess progress and revise business strategies as needed;
- Supporting job creation, staff retention, knowledge transfer, and business continuity within Maplerose’s Canadian operations; and
- Performing other senior executive duties as required by Maplerose.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible senior management or executive leadership experience in real estate, property investment, property development, property management, or a closely related field;
- Demonstrated experience in real estate acquisition, investment analysis, asset repositioning, redevelopment, or mixed-use development projects;
- Experience in strategic planning, business development, budgeting, project planning, contract negotiation, and business and operational management;
- Experience overseeing commercial, industrial, residential, or mixed-use real estate assets and related business operations;
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills; and
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel throughout Ontario as required to perform the duties of the position.
