As a Regional Market Development Manager, you will serve as a strategic business partner to our independent Market Partners, helping them grow sustainable businesses through leadership development, social commerce, customer acquisition, and community engagement.
This role combines business strategy, coaching, field development, relationship management, and community building. You will work closely with leaders at every stage of their journey to drive sales growth, strengthen leadership capabilities, increase customer retention, and accelerate business performance across the Canadian market.
As a trusted coach and advisor, you will inspire confidence, foster accountability, and empower entrepreneurs to achieve meaningful, long-term success. The ideal candidate is passionate about people, energized by entrepreneurship, excited about the future of social commerce, and motivated by helping others unlock their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with Market Partners to develop and execute personalized growth strategies that drive customer acquisition, customer retention, leadership development, and long-term business success.

Analyze business performance and key metrics, translating data into meaningful coaching conversations and actionable business strategies that support sustainable growth.

Coach leaders on promotions, recruiting, onboarding, team development, incentive programs, recognition initiatives, business planning, and leadership development.

Stay current on social commerce trends and emerging digital platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other evolving channels, and coach leaders on leveraging authentic content and digital tools to grow their businesses.

Model and encourage effective content creation and social selling best practices while helping Market Partners build authentic personal brands and engaged customer communities.

Coach Market Partners on compliant business-building practices while supporting authentic, engaging social commerce strategies aligned with company policies and industry regulations.

Build strong, trusted relationships across the Canadian field organization and maintain an active presence by supporting local market events, trainings, leadership retreats, business-building events, and virtual educational opportunities.

Champion MONAT's culture and values by creating positive experiences that strengthen engagement, recognition, collaboration, and community throughout the region.

Partner with Sales Leadership to execute regional growth strategies, company initiatives, and market expansion efforts while ensuring consistent execution of organizational priorities.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Events, Recognition, Compliance, Customer Care, and other internal teams to deliver an exceptional experience for Market Partners.

Translate field insights, business trends, and Market Partner feedback into actionable recommendations that influence strategy, improve performance, and support future growth.

Monitor market trends, business opportunities, competitive activity, and potential risks impacting regional performance.
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in sales leadership, business development, coaching, relationship management, or field development.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Proven ability to coach, influence, inspire, and develop leaders and teams while building strong, trusted relationships.

Strong understanding of social commerce, digital marketing, content creation, and customer engagement strategies.

Demonstrated ability to analyze business performance and translate insights into effective coaching and business development strategies.

Confident presenter with experience facilitating engaging virtual and in-person trainings for audiences ranging from small leadership groups to large-scale events.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated agility with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, new initiatives, and evolving business needs.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment while managing multiple priorities.

Experience within direct selling, beauty, wellness, retail, creator economy, or entrepreneurial environments is preferred.

Bilingual English/French proficiency is considered an asset.
Travel Requirements

Ability to travel throughout Canada for field events, trainings, conferences, leadership meetings, and market visits as needed.
