Overview
The Property Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, financial performance, tenant relations, and long-term value of the property portfolio. This position is responsible for ensuring properties are well maintained, fully compliant with applicable regulations, and operating efficiently while delivering exceptional service to tenants and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, property management, financial, and negotiation skills and be capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring efficient and professional management.
- Manage tenant relationships, respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and support tenant retention.
- Administer lease agreements, renewals, amendments, and ensure lease compliance.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including contract administration and service performance.
- Prepare and monitor operating budgets, expenses, and financial reports.
- Support rent collection, arrears management, and cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, tenants, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and provide recommendations to maximize property performance and value.
- Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation.
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate timely resolutions.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- All other duties required by Management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Property Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of property management experience, preferably managing commercial, industrial, or mixed-use properties.
- Strong knowledge of leasing, contract administration, property operations, and building maintenance.
- Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost-control initiatives.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
- Ability to manage multiple properties, projects, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
