Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and adherence to food safety standards. The <PERSON> will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to ensure freshness and safety
Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing excellent food service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to ensure compliance with health standards
Assist with meal preparation during busy periods, supporting team members as needed
Ensure proper food presentation and quality control before serving dishes to customers
Support the team in maintaining a positive work environment focused on teamwork and efficiency

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
Experience with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly required
Strong understanding of the food industry practices and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification is a plus

Pay: Up to $18.50 per hour
