You will deliver memorable aesthetic experiences while educating clients on available treatments and skincare options, developing personalized treatment plans, and supporting clients in achieving their aesthetic goals.

This is a full-time position. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

Expectations for the Role
- Conduct thorough client skin assessments and provide education regarding appropriate skincare products and treatment options.
- Develop and recommend individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, skin type, and clinical recommendations.
- Provide a full spectrum of aesthetic services, including laser and light-based treatments, facials, skincare consultations, and product recommendations.
- Deliver services with the utmost professionalism and attention to protocols, quality standards, client health, safety, comfort, and privacy.
- Educate clients on available treatments, aftercare requirements, skincare products, and expected treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely client charts and update client profiles following consultations and treatments.
- Ensure all health, safety, infection prevention, cleaning, sterilization, and treatment-room standards are consistently met.
- Maintain treatment supplies, tools, products, and workspaces in a clean, organized, and client-ready condition.
- Provide general information to clients regarding Dermphi Centre™ services, promotions, and skincare products.
- Support retail sales and product recommendations in a consultative, client-focused manner.
- Collaborate with the Practice Assistant, Director of Operations, Medical Directors, and other members of the leadership team to implement strategies and support business growth.
- Maintain a professional, polished, and welcoming presence that reflects the Dermphi Centre™ brand and client experience.
Qualifications Required Education
- Completion of, and certification from, a recognized esthetics program.
Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant esthetics, laser technician, or medical aesthetics experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting client skin assessments, providing skincare education, and recommending appropriate treatment plans.
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare, treatment planning, client education, and post-treatment care.
- Represents Dermphi Centre™ at all times by maintaining a poised, polished, and professional image.
- Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
- Excellent observational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- A commitment to delivering elevated, sophisticated, and personalized customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, as required.
Asset Qualifications
The following experience and qualifications are considered assets:
- Previous experience working in a cosmetic clinic, medical spa, dermatology clinic, or comparable medical aesthetics setting.
- Experience with medical-grade skincare lines, including:
o ZO Skin Health
o AlumierMD
o Vivier
o SkinCeuticals
- Experience with aesthetic and energy-based treatments, including:
o Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
o Clear + Brilliant
o InMode technologies, including Morpheus8, Lumecca, Forma, and EvolveX
o Chemical peels, including Vivier chemical peel systems
- Experience with CoolSculpting, Fraxel, or similar laser and body-contouring technologies.
- Previous sales experience, including consultative retail sales and skincare product recommendations.
- Experience with inventory management, ordering, product merchandising, or retail operations.
- Prior customer service experience in a luxury, clinical, wellness, or hospitality environment.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management or booking software, such as Mindbody or Jane App.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Background Check
A clear Criminal Background Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, is required as a condition of employment.
Applicants who have resided outside of Calgary within the previous twelve (12) months may be required to obtain a police information check from the local police service or RCMP detachment in their previous municipality of residence in order to provide a complete report.
