We are seeking one Occupational Therapist to join our team of Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, Osteopaths, Naturopath, Pedorthist, Nurse Practitioner, Counsellors, and Massage Therapists.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our team with experience in the fields of MVAs, concussions, and return to work cases. Training with FCEs/CogFCEs, Physical Demands Analysis, Cognitive Demands Analysis, and Ergonomic assessments would be a bonus.
This role is slated to begin this fall, in tune with a clinic expansion. Our preference would be an experienced Calgary OT who is looking to either start or build to full-time.
Our clinic is located in southern Calgary, next to Southcentre Mall. Pro Motion Calgary was established in 2022 as a second branch of Pro Motion Clinic out of Kelowna, BC. This gives our practitioners the benefit of working at a clinic with an established working model, and at the same time giving them the freedom to mold the new working environment to their preferences.
Our team is dedicated, genuine, and collaborative: we share our knowledge to ensure patients receive advanced treatment through an integrative approach, actively seeking out and using the best tools. You will enjoy flexibility with clinical hours and competitive compensation while working out of a private treatment room. Our clinic is open Monday-Saturday. There is an option to work weekends if desired. The multidisciplinary approach of our clinic leads to many in-house referrals.
Our clinic offers direct billing and ensures all administrative tasks are covered for you (reception, booking, cancellation, billing, marketing, social media and more!). This allows you to focus your full attention on what you do best while our exceptional front desk team handles all the behind-the-scenes duties and daily operations.
You will have access to our web-based clinic system (Janeapp) to view your schedule remotely, allowing for easy online booking. Our patients love this system and our team does too!
Qualifications & Experience:
- Completed Occupational Therapist degree and registered in Alberta
- Participation in education to further professional growth considered an asset
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Proficient in patient assessment, analysis and problem solving
- Innovative and willing to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centred care and inter-professional teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills
- Friendly, upbeat, optimistic, and authentic
- Experienced Calgary based applicants preferred
