Summary
Southpoint Equipment is seeking a dedicated Marketing Manager to lead our digital marketing efforts from our location in Chatham. This role is vital in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our community, and supporting our sales objectives through innovative marketing strategies.
A marketing manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive marketing strategies aimed at promoting Southpoint Equipment products and services and enhancing brand visibility within the markets that we serve. These markets are agriculture, commercial and residential. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and the unique challenges faced by each market segment. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with sales, service, parts and the management teams to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns/events with company objectives. The position demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and proven technical skills support by a proven track record in managing and executing successful marketing initiatives. Job Duties
- Lead collaboration between the marketing, sales and the management teams
- Develop, execute and manage the overall marketing strategy for the organization
- Oversee the creation of print (magazine, newspaper ads etc.) and digital (social media, email, webpage etc.) content for channels and determine distribution plans
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess ROI (return on investment) and KPIs (key performance indicators) to recommend future actions
- Conduct market research on products and services offered by the company and the competition
- Develop and adhere to a marketing budget
- Utilize paid advertising and organic (free content) media opportunities
- Work with all other functions of the business to carry out business goals
- Optimize content according search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and given strategies
- Identify target audience (customers) and determine the best way to reach new or existing audiences
- Oversee and create new marketing and advertising activities and opportunities
- Event planning, execution and coordination for events such as trainings, meetings, conferences and trade shows
- Coordinate all social media efforts

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within the farming or agricultural sector.
- Strong understanding of farming and construction industry dynamics and product marketing.
- Proven ability to design and execute marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including SEO, SEM, and analytics software.
- Ability to analyze market data and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Relevant certifications such as a digital marketing certification, marketing boot camps or industry experience will make a candidate more competitive.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams

Working Conditions
- Travel may be required. You must have your own means of transportation.
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
