OVERVIEW
The Active Lifestyle Centre is a vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life throughout the community. The Foot Care Coordinator is a highly organized, personable, and professional team member responsible for overseeing front desk operations while coordinating the Centre’s Foot Care Program.
This position serves as an important point of contact for members, clients, participants, health-care professionals, volunteers, and visitors. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, support the day-to-day operations of the Centre, and ensure the effective administration and coordination of the Foot Care Program.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Post secondary school diploma in Office Administration or an equivalent in experience in an office setting dealing with the public.
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database programs, and computerized registration/POS systems.
- Experience with cash handling, debit transactions, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Experience with data entry and general clerical duties.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate client records and documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee and coordinate daily front desk operations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, clients, participants, volunteers, and visitors.
- Greet and assist all members, non-members, and program participants upon arrival.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff member or department.
- Provide facility tours and promote ALC memberships, programs, services, and events.
- Operate POS systems and debit machines.
- Manage daily cash handling, balancing of tills, deposits, and related reports.
- Provide front desk coverage and support other areas of ALC as required.
- Manage Foot Care bookings, client inquiries, telephone calls, recalls, and appointments.
HOURS OF WORK
- Full-time, Maternity (1 year) contract position.
- Approximately 37.5 hours per week (or as determined by the employment agreement).
- Some evening, weekend, and special event work may be required.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- Reports directly to the Office Manager.
- Reports indirectly to the Executive Director

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
