Labourer, Castlegar, British Columbia
Interfor is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Labourer in Castlegar. Starting rate for this position is $35.66 per hour.
What You’ll Do
-
Successful candidates will train in various areas of the mill.
-
Available to work day shift, afternoon shift or graveyard shift.
-
Work in a safe and efficient manner while following all safety rules and regulations.
-
Occupational First Aid Level 3 Preferred.

Work as a member of the production team doing a variety of jobs across the site including clean-up, yard maintenance and stacking lumber.

Operating equipment and production lines to maintain a steady flow of lumber through the mill.

Related training such as OFA3, Forklift,

Grading ticket or trade would be an asset.

Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset.
