Pipelayer / Crew Support – Out of Town (6 & 1 Rotation)

ABOUT US
PNW Pipelayers specializes in civil underground utility work across British Columbia. We’re a small, experienced crew that takes pride in doing clean, high-quality work and keeping our sites safe and organized.
It’s a team that can have a laugh, but stays focused and gets the job done right, especially knowing our clients are always watching. We do a lot of work in the Kootenays and are heading into a busy season with consistent work ahead.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Experienced Pipelayer – Starting at $38/hr (up to $42+ based on experience)
Junior Pipelayer / Labourer – Competitive starting rate ($28+), training provided
WHAT WE OFFER
- 10-hour days (overtime after 8 hours/day + 40 hours/week)
- Rotation: 6 days on / 1 day off (project-based, may vary)
- Flights paid or gas reimbursement
- Daily Live Out Allowance
- Extended health & dental after probation
- Ongoing work in the Kootenays and across BC
THE ROLE
You’ll be working directly alongside our owner and crew on pipelaying and underground utility work, supporting installation, grade, and general site operations.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced environment where everyone is expected to stay engaged and contribute to the overall flow of the job.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Comfortable working around trench boxes and heavy equipment
- Able to read plans and grades (experienced pipelayers)
- Safety-conscious and aware on site
- Stays productive and looks for the next task without needing to be told
- Takes direction well and communicates clearly
- Takes pride in clean, quality work
- Willing and able to work out of town
For junior applicants: physically fit, reliable, and eager to learn
