About Role
As a Gift Designer & Wrapper, you will design, assemble, and wrap gift baskets for our corporate and personal clients. This is hands-on, detail-heavy work that requires a keen eye for presentation. Individuals with a passion for arts and crafts as well as with experience in making gift baskets will be preferred.
Social Media Requirement
We build our brand primarily through social media, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. As part of this role, you will regularly appear on camera for content such as basket assembly, unboxings, behind-the-scenes footage, and promotional clips. You must be comfortable being filmed and photographed as a normal part of your day-to-day work. Active participation in social media content is a mandatory requirement of this role.
Responsibilities
- Design and assemble gift baskets to spec — product selection, layout, arrangement
- Wrap baskets professionally (cellophane, ribbon, bows, presentation finishing)
- Appear in social media video/photo content on request
- Quality check every finished basket before it ships
- Manage light inventory, restock supplies
- Pack and prep orders for delivery/pickup
- Keep workspace clean and organized
- Other work related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, works well under deadline pressure
- Strong attention to detail — aesthetics matter
- Comfortable on camera, no exceptions
- Able to stand for shift, lift up to 20 lbs
- Flexible availability — evenings/weekends may be required during peak (Oct-Dec)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- Retail, floristry, gift wrapping, or visual merchandising experience
- Social media / content creation experience (filming, editing, posing)
- Own transportation
- Creative eye, craft/DIY background
Seasonal vs Permanent
State your preference in your application. Seasonal roles cover peak periods only. Permanent roles offer year-round work, priority scheduling, and a growth path into senior roles.
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
