Sniff N Go is currently looking for reliable, trustworthy, and animal loving subcontractors to join our growing pet care team. We are hiring for up to two roles:
Dog Walker / Drop-In Pet Care Provider / Overnight Pet Sitter
This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals and is looking for flexible, independent work in pet care!
About the Roles
Dog Walker / Drop-In Visits
Responsibilities include:
Dog walking (15, 30, 45, and 60-minute walks)
Drop-in visits for feeding, bathroom breaks, and companionship
Following detailed client instructions
Providing updates and communicating professionally with clients
Up to approximately 5–6 visits per day at full capacity (varies by schedule and demand)
Overnight Pet Sitting
Staying in a client’s home while they are away
Providing care, feeding, companionship, and routine maintenance for pets
Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of animals and the home
Strong responsibility, trustworthiness, and communication required
Growth & Scheduling
New subcontractors will begin with a smaller number of clients and gradually build their schedule over time as trust and availability grow.
Working Conditions
This is an outdoor job and requires comfort working in all weather conditions, including:
- Hot summer weather
- Cold winter temperatures and snow
- Rain and wet conditions
- Wind and other seasonal weather changes
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong comfort and experience working with animals (preferred)
- Previous dog walking, pet sitting, veterinary, shelter, grooming, or similar experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Trustworthiness and respect for client homes and privacy
Communication Expectations
This role involves daily communication with clients. Clear, professional, and timely communication is essential.
Applicants will be required to answer screening questions during the application process. Responses should be written in your own words and reflect your actual experience and communication style.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
