Job Title: Driver & Mover (Senior Relocation Specialist)
Job Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Full-time (schedule may vary based on client needs)

Safety Sensitive: Valid Drivers License Required

Our client is seeking a Driver & Mover (Senior Relocation Specialist) to support relocation services by combining professional driving, moving, and customer care to ensure a smooth, respectful, and stress-free experience for clients.

What's the Job?

Safely operate a 16-foot cube truck to transport household goods and furniture.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of company vehicles.
Load, unload, and move furniture and household items safely and efficiently.
Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
Handle fragile, valuable, and sentimental items with care and attention.
Assist with home setup and furniture placement based on client preferences.
Pack and unpack household belongings using proper techniques.
Organize items within homes and retirement residences.
Manage moving supplies, including boxes, bins, and inventory tracking.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Build positive relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
Work collaboratively in teams of 2–6 members to complete relocations.
Complete daily documentation, including timecards and reports accurately.
Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Experience operating a 16-foot cube truck with confidence.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to safely lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional work ethic.
Commitment to safety and customer service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in moving, relocation, logistics, or furniture delivery.
Experience working in customer-facing roles, especially with seniors.
Basic handyman skills, including furniture assembly, picture hanging, or home setup.
