Company

AdMore Lighting Inc., based in Calgary, Alberta has been developing and manufacturing unique & innovative motorcycle safety lighting products since 2006. AdMore products make the motorcycle rider more visible and hence safer on the road - and they look cool too! AdMore’s unique products are manufactured in Calgary and are shipped to customers around the world. We are continually developing new products and looking for new ways to tell the world about our existing product line-up and exciting new products that we are developing and planning to release.

Current Bookkeeping Situation

We are an established manufacturing company in Calgary, AB in business since 2006. We use Quickbooks Premier (Manufacturing edition) for our bookkeeping. We are looking for a junior bookkeeper to enter and file invoices and complete monthly bank reconciliations. As we operate in a manufacturing environment, we also use QB to manage inventory of our parts and assemblies. Our bookkeeping and inventory management system is well-established and is up-to-date.

The successful candidate will also assist with a variety of office-related activities including but not limited to inventory management, shipping, answering inbound phone calls, etc.

Specific job responsibilities

- Work closely with our senior bookkeeper

- Maintain our QB (Desktop) installation so that it is accurate and up-to-date

- Enter all invoices and sales receipts

- Reconcile all bank accounts (CAD & USD)

- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders

- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all parts and assemblies (builds)

- Produce monthly and other reports (as requested)

- File all paperwork for easy retrieval at a future date

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Assist with office administration including but not limited to inventory management, shipping, answering inbound phone calls, etc.

Candidate qualifications

- At least 1 year of bookkeeping experience

- Experience working with an automated bookkeeping solution (Quickbooks preferred)

- Experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word & Excel)

- Well organized

- Attention to detail

- Reliable

- Flexible (willing to help out where needed in different areas of the business)

- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Work Environment

This is an in-office position.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
